Many bands were taking to the Contest stage for the first time in 2 years, having faced immense challenges during that period (due to the pandemic). A few were clearly short on numbers on the day, but still bravely persevered and are to be congratulated for their efforts (regardless of the result!).
Special congratulations must go to the bands who have now qualified to represent Wales later this year, both at the National Finals in Cheltenham and London, as well as the European Championships in Malmo next year.

The winning bands and their respective conductors are:

Fourth Section:
Crosskeys Silver (Sion Rhys Jones), Rhyl Silver (Jamie Duncan)

Third Section:
Cwmtawe (Wayne Pedrick), Crwbin (Alex McGee)

Second Section:
Beaumaris (Bari Gwilliam), Mid Rhondda (Thomas Coaches) (Alan Gibbs)
